Though I've only been in Johannesburg a couple of days now, it's become apparent that it is a country full of contrasts. African/White, Rich/Poor, Developed/Neglected, New/Old, Safe/Dangerous, Rough/Smooth. I hope these photos (mostly from walking around Braam and Newtown yesterday) speak to that.
